EP 36: Celebrating Mindfulness & Gratitude In a Time of Chaos
Hello Chit Chatters!
I know November is the month where most people take the time to remember what they are grateful for and what they are thankful for. I always like to do a reflection of the last year when we get to November and event though we celebrate Thanksgiving in the US, I tend to always count my blessings and look at what I have been gifted and blessed with.
Let's reflect and look into our own lives to understand how we've survived the extremely challenging moment in our lives and pray for those who have been less fortunate. We must be vigilant and thankful for all of our blessings in life everyday.
Expressing gratitude is important for our mental and well being and provides us an opportunity to balance that challenges and chaos we experience in our life.
Practicing mindfulness is something that can help balance the other parts that you often don't see in your personal reflection of gratitude. I always link mindfulness to peace, relaxation, awakening, meditation. Find ways to ride yourself of the negative energy that your body and mind is holding so you can feel more balance with where you want to be in the moment and in your life.
The quote below to me feels like the perfect blend of the two ideology and practices.
